FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does it cost to produce a Photobook?

A Photobook can be produced (printed and bound) from as little as $20-$30 and you can spend well over $150 or more if you want to. An expensive book, in itself, does not mean a higher award or prize.

Judges will take the following into account when determining awards and prizes.

– The quality of images from a technical perspective

– Selection and sequencing of images

– Design, layout and relevance and quality of supportive text

– Creativity and originality of a story/theme and design

– The effectiveness of the visual narrative
